| Born in 1936 in Bengal, he studied at the Government Art College in Kolkata and received the National Diploma in Art from Delhi Polytechnic. He has held over seventy-five solo exhibitions in India and abroad. He has received fifteen awards for creative work including the National Award. Choudhry’s subjects are simple and communicative and his art arises from his passionate involvement with the world, its people and nature. |
